Hey all, what a bad run of swell we've had over the last few weeks, shouldn't of complained about the 3 foot close–outs at the lake for the last comp. I think we pissed off Huey. Any way new month, new hope (unless you have shares in a bank). So no comp for Sept, however were all stoked that Manly won the comp *&^%&*()_)*^$#%&()__+) sorry just had to die a thousand deaths again… congrats.
On the club front the paint ball war with the MOB never came off as they shit themselves when they heard “Rambo Ronnie Smith” was on our side. Anyway, maybe another day.
Kings of the Coast is on the 15th of Nov so jot it in your book and roll up to North Shelly and get behind our team.
Alright, 2 comps to go and “it's getting hot in here”. They will be on Oct 26th and Nov 23th. We know that they clash with some other stuff but we did the best we could, too much going on.
In our infinite wisdom we have decided to make this year's preso full on fancy dress… you heard correct.

Come one come all to the sickest presso of them all… yes, get together your best… worst… evilest… (you will be judged)… costume and get down to our clubhouse on the 13th of December (straight after the single fin comp) to get your trophies. Could be fun…
Ace
Also, a big congrats to Adrian “Ace” Buchan—a long and proud member of Avoca Boardriders for smashing Kelly and making him wait a little longer for his 9th world title. 
I know i speak for everyone when i say how stoked we were for him with his win in France. His secret weapon we hear was his home town entourage with whom he travelled… France and Spain will never be the same. Hope there are many more to come! Cheers.
