Lovey's rant
Well, we got the swell for our April/May comp but not the banks, we may need to have a sacrifice to “Huey the wave god”. Anyone got an old board, fruit or a M.O.B. member? Just kidding… dont want to waste the fruit…
Well, are you all ready for Treachery trip 2010? We've got over 60 people coming and still counting. We go up Friday morning (if not, Saturday morning is fine) and come home Sunday arvo. You need to bring all your food and drinking water, as the only shop is back at Seal Rocks and it's a mission to go back and forth. We build a fire each night, so any spare wood lying around bring along so we don't have to buy it.
Boardriders will supply the B.B.Q. on Sat night and Sunday morning… Some steaks, bacon, sausages, pasta salads and bread. There's a bottle–o if you need it, but like I said, better to stock up on the way in — you don't want to drive the road to many times. There are cabins up the top of the site, but we all usually camp, so it's nice and cosy (sleep is optional). Fun is expected. So, email me or call the A.B.C. bat phone if there are any questions.
Thanks also goes out to all the people who supported the No Ship fundraiser at the Bowlo, a great night was had by all and Dan “The Man” Santangelo won the dance off narrowly from James Dean Smith. Some great prizes were won and a big thanks to the Bowlo for putting up with us. I think we raised about $13000 which goes straight into the war fund. Thanks again.
We need someone that is coming to Treachery who has room to put 2 BBQs in a ute or trailer. It doesn't seem like our trailer is up to the trip. Give Lovey a call on 0418 669 265 if you can help.
