Lovey's rant
Hey all.
I'm back on deck due to popular demand (did ya miss me? Sure you did). Well, I've got some important dates to plant in your brain and some results from the last comp.
Kings of the Coast
This year Avoca hosts the Kings of the Coast and we're trying to get our hat–trick of wins, so we will be calling on all club members to get behind our team. Last year was dismal compared to the other clubs' efforts — it seemed we were out–numbered 10–to–1. So, show some ticker and get behind your club.
This year we have a few new sponsors on board and a healthy monetary prize for each division, as well as a grand prize for the overall winner.
There will be 6 clubs in the hunt:

- Wamberal
- Tea Tree
- Forries
- North Shelley
So, put it on your calendar! November 21st 2009. Slaugher them all!
Last comp
Last month's comp ran nice and smooth and I hope all had fun in the sun and scored a few juicy ones (like Dan did, pity it wasn't in a heat, we all hope didums is feeling better). The usual whinge: have enough respect for your by turning up on time and concentrating on your judging so as not to stuff up their scores. You expect it. So, give it.
We're going to run a comp to try and find some art work for next year's club t–shirts. All you artists out there, start laying down some wild stuff and get it to one of us. If you want to email anything, you can get some details from the contact page on the site.
If anyone has any photos or video of the comp (or any comp for that matter), get in contact with Dylan and he'll put it up on the site.
