Lovey's rant
Hey all,
Well, well, well someone came up with a good sacrifice for the last comp cause we had one of the best days of surf I can remember. Huey served up a treat for all of us on the point and some filthy waves were consumed by those lucky enough to be a member of Avoca Boardriders. Nothing better than taking over the point.
Last month a crew of members took off on our annual treachery trip and what a great weekend we had… only problem was the swell was too big… don't usually hear that, but the groms had a ball out Seal Rocks and on the inside the sand lined up nicely for the super groms. The usual grom training went on but no harm was done; in fact they seemed to enjoy it. We had a new area to camp in this year and it kept us away from the rest of the campers which was great. Hope to see you all there again next year.
We have put in our clothes order for this year, so if you missed out there will be another order going in soon,so we will let you know.
Big congrats goes out to Wags, Isaac and Josh for getting 3rd in the state teams and Josh for a 2nd in the all stars. He now gets to go to the Aussies. Good luck pesto! Also to Brendo and Josh for their wins in the Harboard Dripping Wet Comp.

Rules
Seems some people need a reminder of a few Boardriders rules:
- 7:30am cut off
- No surfing in the flagged comp area… ever
- No taking off your singlet and surfing to the beach
- Don't stand up after your heat has finished
- Judge the heat 2 after yours
- Have fun!
