Lovey's rant

Well, where has that year gone? Only seems like yesterday that the '09 Sanga comp was on and here we are with the floater awards for 2010:

The day started out a bit rough, with us having to push the 4WD out of the sand bog a few times, but as usual we had a good day on the beach. Though the banks weren't too kind to us, the swell was and a few heavy pits ate up the too–slow and the able–bodied alike. Sand in the steamer… bad.
All the crew stuck around for the BBQ and preso, and the footy was enjoyed on the club's new TV. We're lucky Mule wasn't there, as the Roosters took the choker's tag off the Dragons. Thanks to all who helped out on the day and made our most important comp of the year a success once again.
Kings of the Coast
The Kings of the Coast has been set down for the 20th September and will be held at Forresters Beach. If you've forgotten, we lost the title last year to the MOB. This year we need to get twice as many supporters up the coast and bring our “A” game with us. The club will be hiring a big red bus, so let's fill it and smash 'em all! We've been told that it will be jet ski assist if the comp is held at Forries, so it will be an insane day to be a part of. I'll let you know more as it comes to hand.
Dates
There's talk that we may have a grandfinal day BBQ at the clubhouse in October. So, talk it around and if people are keen we'll get it going. Maybe a comp day in the morning.
